Three Roll Crushers are used in the fertilizer industry, the power plant technology and in the chemical industry. They are particularly suitable for medium and fine grinding of materials with a feed size of up to 250 mm and a desired product size of up to < 1 mm. The Three Roll Crusher integrates two crushing stages in one machine (Single Roll Crusher, Smooth Roll Crusher). In the upper primary crushing stage the feed material is pre-crushed between a crushing plate and a crushing roll. The crushing tools may consist of crushing rings or ledges.
Secondary crushing takes place in the next stage between two counter-rotating rolls. The individually and directly driven rolls ensure an optimum material flow. Throughput capacity is up to 50 t/h, crushing ratio in each crushing stage is approx. 1:4.
