Hammer Mills are used in coal power stations, the basic and the iron and steel industry for crushing of coal, limestone and gypsum rock, as well as related minerals and different types of salt. Throughput capacity is up to 1.500 t/h. After entering the crushing radius of the rotor, the feed material is grasped by the flexible beater heads, thrown against the grinding wall and crushed gradually. Secondary crushing is carried out in the lower section between the rotor and the grinding wall. The crushing ratio is up to 1:15 (in individual cases up to 1:30), max. feed size is approx. 300 mm. As grinding walls are arranged on both sides, the direction of the rotor can be changed (reversible design) so that the beater heads can be used to the optimum.
Feed materials: coal, coke, limestone, gypsum, different types of ore and salt.
