Two-Stage Grinders are used in the fertilizer and the chemical industry for grinding of soft to medium-hard feed materials.
The feed material is fed over the whole width of the rolls via conveyors. Crushing in the first crushing stage is attained by counter-rotating rolls, which are provided with a corrugated design according to the specified product. The material is then fed to the second crushing stage where it is further crushed by counter-rotating rolls. Throughput capacity is up to 30 t/h, product size may be less than < 1 mm. The crushing ratio of each crushing stage is approx. 1:4.
