Spike Crushers are used in the iron and steel industry for primary crushing of hot sinter. The crushing entity consists of a crushing roll and a grizzly bar. The hot sinter cake is fed into the crusher by the sinter belt via a feeding table. The feed material is grasped by the crushing rolls and crushed by the crushing teeth on the grizzly bar. Throughput capacity is up to 1.000 t/h, crushing ratio is approx. 1:6.
