Grindability Testing Machine
Grindability Testing Machines are used for establishing relative grindability figures according to "Hardgrove". These figures are especially decisive for design and operation of coal mills, power plants and cement plants.
Calibration Line:
The calibration line is determined by using one set, i.e. 4 standard reference material samples with a different "Hardgrove-Index" (HGI) of approx. 40, 60, 80 and 110°H.
Mode of Operation:
A material sample with a grain size ranging from 0,6 - 1,18 mm and a weight of 50 g is ground in accordance with stipulated conditions and with a stipulated mode of operation. Grindability is determined by comparing the results of the screening analysis of the material sample to the calibration line.
